These Women's History Month activities for elementary students will help your students learn how to celebrate Women's History Month, both in the classroom and on their own!

You can assign these as extension or early-finisher activities, or give as take-home independent practice work. Several of the activities can be done as group work, or with parents and guardians.

This packet includes a choice board of 9 Women's History activities, plus all of the links and printables needed to complete the activities.

Students can choose from activities like:

Create a "Who Am I?" Card

Fold a piece of paper in half to make a card. On the front, write, “Who am I?” List 3-5 clues about a famous or notable woman from history or the present. Open the inside of the card and draw a picture of the woman you choose. You may use Fact Monster to help you.

Women's History Word Search

Create a word search out of 10 famous women’s names. Give it to a classmate to see if they can find your hidden words.

Women Around the World

Find a notable woman from 2 different continents other than America. You may use Fact Monster to help you research. Draw them in the correct state/country on a blank map. Turn the map over and create a picture that shows what you learned about them and how they changed the world.
