In this fluency game, the goal for students is to take their chip from 1 to 100 first. Here’s the catch, students can’t count. In order to move they are challenged to create strategies to move the number of places that they roll. While they can skip count by 3s and up, there are lots of other strategies students can discover that will help them make it to 100 first. If students are caught counting or they can’t explain their strategy to their competitors, you have to start again from 1. This game will really sharpen your mental math and addition fluency skills.
