Pediatrician Dr. Ana Verónica Méndez is Chief of Pediatric Ambulatory Care at Richmond University Medical Center, where she works with a team of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide children with medical care and families with support and compassion. Dr. Méndez talks about the path through medical school, her struggles as an immigrant who didn't speak any English, the importance of studying liberal arts in addition to the sciences, and a walkthrough of her (very!) busy schedule.

Martha Romero helps people find jobs and helps companies fill open positions with the most qualified people available. In this video, Martha discusses her experiences as an immigrant from Colombia, putting her career aspirations on hold as a young parent, going back to school as an adult, and her recommendations and suggestions for being persistent and happy in your career.
