The unfortunate truth is that suicide can happen to any child in any family at any time - it's the second leading cause of death in youth ages 10-24. This printable handout provides parents with a series of talking points that they can use to have effective, empathetic, and purposeful conversations with their children about suicide. Also useful to educators as part of a suicide prevention in-service or training session. Provided by the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide.
