FutureFit Extension Activities

Serve

(5-10 minutes):
Explain the idea of random acts of kindness. Ask students to make a list of kind acts they can do for someone special in their life. Have them write down what they plan to do, and for whom they plan to do it. Ask them to carry out their plans within in one week.

Reflect

(10-15 minute):
After doing the “serve” activity above, ask them to think about their act of kindness. They should write a short essay about what they did, who they did it for, what the reaction was, and how they felt after doing the act of kindness.
