These Hanukkah student choice math activities for elementary students are perfect for celebrating and learning about the holiday in your classroom!

They are great for math centers, as extension or early-finisher activities, or given as take-home independent practice work.

This packet includes a choice board of 9 Hanukkah math activities, plus all of the links and Hanukkah printables needed to complete the activities.

Students can choose from activities like:

Dreidel Probability

Spin a dreidel 15 times. Make a prediction each time before you spin, and record what you actually land on. Which symbol did you spin the most? The least? Write your results in your math journal.

Menorah Multiples

There are 9 candles on a menorah. Draw your own picture of a menorah. Under each candle, write out the multiples of 1-9 (starting at 1x1 and stopping at 1x12).

Hanukkah Math Game

Hanukkah is all about celebrating! Many children play games during this time. Design your own math board game. Create at least 20 problems to solve, and then draw and color your own game board and pieces.
