borax = a white, crystalline powder used as a cleaning material

fluid ounce = a unit of volume for measuring liquids; there are 16 fluid ounces in 1 pint

plaster of Paris = a white powder that forms a paste when mixed with water; used for making molds and casts

pint = a unit of capacity; equal to 1/2 quart, or 2 cups, or 16 fluid ounces

quart = a unit of capacity; equal to 1/4 gallon
