FutureFit Extension Activities

As a capstone challenge problem, have students calculate the total amount of money the correct answers on the bottom portion of the worksheet add up to ($4.47). Model several different ways for them to arrive at the answer (i.e. adding the first two answers to find them sum, then adding the next answer to the sum, and so on).

Get Real

Using the total amount arrived at in the previous activity, have students calculate the number of school lunches that could be purchased using that money.
