TeacherVision Talks: Back to School Speakers

  • Daniel Lewer is an author, podcast host, and curriculum creator from Hawai’i. Dan taught for eleven years and has made it his mission to help fellow teachers engage their students by making rigorous learning fun.
  • Alex Nearing is a Primary Montessori Teacher in Denver, Colorado. With a background in both traditional and Montessori education, Alex has enjoyed teaching and sharing the endless benefits of the Montessori philosophy.
  • Jen Manly is a college instructor, former high school and middle school computer science teacher, curriculum developer, and Project Lead the Way Master Teacher. She is a Certified Agile Leader K–12 Trainer, coauthor of the Agile Educator Guide, and a 2018 ITEEA Teacher Excellence awardee. She is devoted to sharing game-changing classroom organization and management concepts with teachers everywhere.
  • Katy Hoffman is an elementary teacher, new teacher mentor, and reading specialist has 10 years of experience in the classroom and a passion for supporting teachers.  Katy specializes in classroom management and is dedicated to the building of positive classroom learning communities.
  • Dawn Parrish is a 15-year elementary school veteran teacher in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dawn is a new teacher mentor, enrichment tutor, and educational resource creator with a dedication to building connections in the classroom.
  • Jennifer Talarico is a middle school educator in San Diego California. Jen has a passion for creating and sharing classroom culture and management strategies with educators everywhere.
