Present this activities to help your students get to know each other. In this icebreaker, students interview a classmate and write a journalism-style feature story about them.
Get to know your students by making a classroom giving tree. To introduce this activity, you'll read Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree to your class and discuss its meaning. This is a great icebreaker that ties in children's literature to the fun.
Use this printable to teach pupils the purpose of the U.S. Constitution. Pupils will also analyse the language and meaning of the Preamble, and then work in cooperative groups to write a class constitution.
