Kellie Tanner (B.S., M.Ed., Ed.D.) is currently serving as the Federal Programs Director for a school district in Alabama, having attained her Doctorate in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change in 2020. In this role, Dr. Tanner writes and monitors federal grants and works closely with programs that focus on high-poverty schools, homeless students, and English Language Learners. Earlier in her career, Dr. Tanner worked as an English teacher for grades 6-10 for over 15 years, and was the Principal of a Middle School for 6 years, while also leading students in grades 5-8. Additionally, Dr. Tanner has been a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader for many years, specializing in creating articles, blogs, and educational grants.
