You can use this activity to increase reading abilities by helping students find the compound words in the sentences and building skills in order to understand compound words. In this worksheet, students will read sample sentences and have to identify the compound word. This activity is geared toward students in grades 2-3, but the activity can be modified to be more appropriately geared toward your students.
