Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is an American basketball player who led UCLA to three national titles between 1967 and 1969. During his career he was named Player of the Year twice, regular season Most Valuable Player six times, and playoff Most Valuable Player twice, in 1971 and 1985. He retired in 1989 after 20 seasons as all-time leader in over 20 categories.
