3—Admirable!

  • adequate information
  • coherent and clear organization
  • evidence of research
  • evidence of participation of most students in the group
  • presents relevant details that portray the connection of literature, art and jazz of the Harlem Renaissance

2—All Right...

  • limited information from a few sources
  • few original touches
  • somewhat organized
  • evidence of participation of at least half of the class
  • evidence of the connection of literature, art, and jazz of the Harlem Renaissance

1—Aim Higher!

  • limited information from a few resources
  • little or no evidence of creativity
  • confusing organization
  • minimum participation by all students
  • little or no portrayal of the connection of literature, art and jazz of the Harlem Renaissance

If the rating is less than three, determine the weaknesses and if possible, suggest the necessary improvements.
