Discover fun facts with three levels of geography questions.

Level 1 (Grades 3-5)


Alaska is the largest state of the United States, about one-fifth as large as the lower 48 states.

What state is the second-largest? What state is the smallest?

Level 2 (Grades 5-7)


The highest suspension bridge (1,053 feet, 321 meters) crosses the Royal Gorge canyon through which the Arkansas River flows.

Level 3 (Grades 6 and up)


The two kinds of glaciers are continental glaciers and valley glaciers. Valley glaciers are found in Alaska. Greenland and Antarctica have continental glaciers.
