Discover fun facts with three levels of geography questions.

Level 1 (Grades 3-5)


Alaska is the largest state of the United States. Alaska is about one-fifth the size of the continental U.S. (lower 48 states).

What state is the second largest in the U.S.? What is the smallest U.S. state?

Level 2 (Grades 5-7)


On Mt. Rushmore there is a sculpture of four United States presidents. In the sculpture, George Washington's head is 60 feet (18 meters) tall.

Who are the other three presidents whose faces are carved into Mt. Rushmore?

Level 3 (Grades 6 and up)


Tidal waves are caused by shifts of the earth under the ocean, or by hurricanes at sea.
