Site of the Boston Massacre
|On March 5, 1770, Crispus Attucks, a black man, was shot and killed during the Boston Massacre, making him the first casualty of the American Revolution. The obelisk located on the Congress Street side of the Old State House at 206 Washington Street in Boston marks the spot where the massacre took place. |
