Harriet Tubman This memorial resides in a park at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Pembroke Street in Boston's South End. Harriet Tubman is known to have visited the Charles Street Meeting House, at Mount Vernon and Charles Street, to discuss emancipation with area abolitionists.
